We have just had two couples stay with us recently who were from Germany and Switzerland. They were in Canada visiting Montreal, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Ottawa and Algonquin park.
To break up their vacation, they stayed in hotels some of the time but they also stayed at a self catering cottage resort so they could cook their own meals on their own schedule.
A great travel combination.

That's one of the reasons we enjoyed Beauview so much. After a week in a hotel we loved the freedom to get up when we wanted and cater for ourselves before ending our holiday in another hotel.
(Still reading the blog and wishing we were nearer for another visit!)
